Job Description

As a logistics supervisor, will be responsible for the management of the Logitics operational functioning and , following the standards and procedures corresponding to the best storage practices. Will be in charge of managing warehouse personnel and managing the logistics operations processes, following good internal and external manufacturing, storage and distribution practices, with a main focus on the activities and processes of receiving materials, storage, inventory control, preparation and dispatch of shipping orders, returns, reconciliation and destruction of materials.

Assume responsibility for maintaining the highest quality standards and generating metrics that allow us to control and optimize processes, evaluate service capabilities and response times to avoid and/or minimize deviations in operating procedures to ensure excellence in services to our customers.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Be a leadership model for the team and the organization as a whole, demonstrating the values and competencies of Thermo Fisher Scientific, always, with a focus on the exercise of being a leader, developing the team including oneself.

Act as a partner of the quality and customer service sectors to ensure the excellence of our services by maintaining and improving quality standards.

Lead and supervise the logistics team in order to comply with quality standards, local regulations, GMP, CGP and GDP.

Supervise compliance with the operational process for product reception processes, distribution of shipping orders to research centers, verifying that the team complies with the times established with customers, provide and give solutions to the team on any process, deviation, as well as respond to internal and external customers on any operational process.
