Instrumentation Technician (Acolman)

As an **Instrumentation Technician, **you will be responsible for calibrating and maintaining inspection, measurement and testing equipment, in accordance with established procedures and manuals, in order to guarantee the accuracy, reliability and repeatability of the results of the analyses performed.As well as ensuring that the inspection, measurement and testing equipment is kept in good working condition with respect to its calibration and/or verification status.This position reports to the Quality Control Manager**Key Responsibilities** (6-10 maximum bullet points in this section)- Comply with the calibration program for inspection, measurement and testing equipment in a timely manner.
- Follow up on purchase requisitions for calibration and external maintenance services, as well as equipment, supplies and spare parts for the instruments.
- Train and advise users of inspection, measurement and testing equipment in order to help with proper use and maintain the calibration status.
- Comply with and ensure the validity of the activities considered in the procedures corresponding to their activities.
- Document the calibration status of inspection, measurement and testing equipment through the corresponding reports. **Qualifications**- Technician or Unfinished Career related to Metrology.
- Two years minimum experience in metrology processes- Knowledge of scales, flow meters, thermometers, pressure gauges and laboratory equipment in general.
