What you’ll do?
- Maintenance and evolution of legacy Java EE code (javax package), ensuring system stability and operational continuity.
- Analysis and resolution of incidents in applications deployed on IBM WebSphere Application Server (WAS).
- Use of tools such as PuTTY for server access and diagnostics.
- Knowledge and management of FTP servers, including file flows and process validation.
- Progressive migration of legacy applications to modern solutions using the Spring Framework (Java 23).
- Support and validation of new code deployments on OpenShift, working with containers (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes).
- Ticket handling in ServiceNow, including:
- Evidence collection
- Technical analysis
- Root cause diagnosis
- Clear communication of findings and resolution
- Execution and support of production deployments with an average cadence of every three weeks (variable based on project needs).
- Ongoing coordination with other Tech Leads and teams to ensure successful deployments and migrations.
- As the owner of legacy applications, direct support to developers from other teams consuming our services, including:
- Resolution of functional and technical questions
- Non-ticketed but operationally critical support
- Provisioning and maintenance of shared JARs and libraries used by other teams and applications
- Active participation in technical analyses that directly impact the stability of the project ecosystem.

What You’ll Bring The role I perform combines technical responsibility, deep knowledge of the legacy system, and active participation in the modernization of the platform.
