Accounts Payable AnalystWe are looking for a detail-oriented and analytical Accounts Payable Analyst to join our team. This is an entry-level opportunity idóneo for professionals who want to grow their career in finance, accounting, and data analysis within an international environment.In this role, you will support freight payables operations and collaborate closely with logistics, procurement, and finance teams across the United States and Canada to ensure accurate and timely payment processes, strong data integrity, and continuous process improvement.Because this position works directly with international stakeholders, advanced English (C1 conversational level) is required.Key Responsibilities- Ensure on-time payments to freight vendors while meeting service level agreements (SLAs) and key performance indicators (KPIs).
- Maintain the accuracy and integrity of payables data for Canada across multiple systems.
- Support the logistics team with shipment costing and follow-up on outstanding freight vendor items.
- Prepare weekly and monthly reports, providing insights on KPIs, analytics, and process improvement opportunities.
- Investigate and resolve issues related to invoice posting, invoices on hold, and GR/IR processes, collaborating with the PTP team.
- Analyze operational data to identify risks, improvement opportunities, and optimization initiatives for the freight payables process.
- Support testing and validation of SAP updates and change requests related to ERS processes.
- Track key operational metrics such as Payments on Time, Shipments Costed on Time, Auto-Costed Shipments, and Freight Accrual improvements.
- Collaborate with internal stakeholders and vendors to resolve discrepancies and align on action plans related to payables.
- Work closely with logistics and procurement teams to ensure freight vendors are reconciled and up to date.
- Support the development and maintenance of freight accrual processes for carrier groups.Qualifications- Bachelor's degree in business, Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
- 1–2 years of experience in Accounts Payable, Accounting, Finance, or similar areas.
- Advanced English (C1 – conversational and written) is mandatory, as you will work daily with teams in the United States and Canada.
- Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities simultaneously.
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Power Point).
- Experience with Power BI or data analytics tools is a plus.
