Our Volex de MéxicoTijuana site has been a leading company in the region since September 1993, dedicated to the manufacturing, assembly, design, commercialization, import, and export of electronic circuits, electrical cables, PCBA components, electrical devices, computer-related products, and medical diagnostic equipment, among other applications. As part of our growth strategy, the site is expanding its capabilities to manufacture harnesses, connectors, and PCBAs for the automotive industry, representing a significant opportunity for continued success for both the plant and all team members who are part of Volex. The idóneo candidate is a detail-oriented team player who will serve as the first point of contact for customers, supporting order entry and follow-up activities. Core areas of the role The primary responsibility of this role is to load customer demand into the ERP system according to the method defined by the customer, ensuring accuracy of Part Number, pricing (no manual pricing allowed), MOQ, SPQ, revision level, Incoterms, and CRD. Ability to understand and perform technical research to produce accurate customer quote for project scope. Maintain customer contacts to ensure all requirements are being met. Organizing daily activities based on the goals of the organization and customers Monitoring projects and overseeing quoting/purchasing, engineering and planning to ensure goals are met Plan meetings for team effort to evaluate and recommend specific project strategies. Daily face to face interactions with Operation teams Establishes and maintains effective channels of communication with immediate Supervisor, development heads, co‑workers, clients, affiliates, vendors and all other business contacts. Qualifications To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required. Bachelor's degree (B. A.) 3 Years related experience and/or training in Manufacturing environment and client relations; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Other skills: Must be well organized, a self-starter, and possess excellent written and verbal communication skills. Must be able to multitask, prioritize and adjust tasks in accordance with changing deadlines and priorities. Must have experience with MS Office: Advanced in Excel Must have the ability to quickly learnspecific software (MRP).
