Senior Bench Test Engineer (Centro-Norte)

General Summary The Senior Bench Test Engineer leads the development, automation, and execution of advanced bench‑level test solutions for RF and mixed‑signal hardware. This role requires extensive hands‑on experience in RF measurements, strong software development capabilities, and the ability to architect robust test methodologies. Key Responsibilities Lead the development of advanced bench‑level test plans for RF and mixed‑signal hardware. Implement automated test using C#, LabView, and Python. Perform complex RF characterization including EVM, ACLR, Gain, Noise Figure, IP3, Phase Noise, and S‑parameters. Set up and operate RF equipment such as Spectrum Analyzers, VNAs, Signal Generators, Oscilloscopes, and Power Meters. Lead debug efforts for test failures, instrumentation issues, and RF board problems. Develop advanced data analysis tools and automated result processing scripts. Collaborate with RF Design, Validation, and Product Engineering teams. Minimum Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering, electronics, mechatronics, or a related field. 5+ years of hands‑on RF and bench testing experience. Expertise in test automation. Strong understanding of RF measurement science. Ability to interpret schematics, PCB layouts, and system‑level hardware documents. Preferred Qualifications Master’s degree in RF, electrical, electronics engineering, or related discipline. 5+ years in RF bench testing or validation. Experience with SCPI, VISA, and automated instrument control. Familiarity with LTE, 5G NR, GSM/EDGE, WCDMA, WLAN, Bluetooth, and GPS standards. Knowledge of RF PCB design basics. Physical Requirements Ability to work at a test bench for extended periods. Ability to lift and install lab equipment up to 5 lbs. Ability to move between labs and offices as needed.
