Job Overview The Cost and Financial Planning Analyst is responsible for a variety of aspects including forecasting, budgeting, reporting and analyzing the company’s finance and expenses. General Responsibilities Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking. Perform variance analysis between vigente, prior and standard costs. Analyze financial data and create cost and financial models for decision support. Report on financial performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews. Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements. Guide cost analysis process by establishing and enforcing policies and procedures. Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization. Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials. Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad‑hoc reports and tools. Maintain a strong financial analysis foundation by creating forecasts and models. Recommend changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processes. Examine data to help reduce costs in all operations. Give suggestions for money‑saving strategies. Experience / Qualifications A university degree required (e.g., Bachelor’s degree) or equivalent relevant work experience. Must be a team player able to work in a fast‑paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands. Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation. Strong organizational, planning and time‑management skills to achieve results. Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity. Holds oneself accountable to achieving goals and standards. Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel). Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills to work effectively with all levels of the organization including suppliers and/or external customers.
