We are looking for a Mechanical Design Engineer to support the customization of low-voltage electrical equipment at our Plant 4 in Apodaca. In this role, you will work with standard designs to tailor solutions that meet customer specifications, focusing on sheet metal and copper component drawings, as well as creating accurate Bills of Materials (BOMs). You will collaborate closely with internal teams and customers to ensure high-quality, efficient, and compliant engineering solutions for LVDO products.
What will you do:
- Develop and modify mechanical designs using 3D and 2D modeling tools
- Customize sheet metal and copper part drawings based on customer requirements and delegation rules
- Create and maintain accurate BOMs for equipment manufacturing
- Support continuous improvement and productivity initiatives
- Collaborate with internal and external customers to define system requirements
- Provide technical and commissioning support when needed
- Partner with sales and technical teams to deliver customer-focused solutions
- Ensure high standards of quality, accuracy, and documentation in all deliverables What will make you successful:
- 2-3 years of experience in mechanical design engineering, especially in 3D modeling
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy
- Effective communication skills with the ability to collaborate across teams
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Customer-oriented mindset with the ability to translate needs into technical solutions
