Your role and responsibilities (Mandatory)

In this role, you will have the opportunity to gain vocational experience through a temporary work placement. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB’s operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.

The work model for the role is: 100% onsite full time

This role is contributing to the Electrification Division in México.

You will be mainly accountable for:

Lead and support Lean Manufacturing initiatives and continuous improvement activities.

Implement and monitor Lean tools such as 5S, time studies, and line balancing.

Support the development and optimization of production layouts.

Create and maintain visual management and operational management tools.

Coordinate Kaizen teams and continuous improvement workshops.

Monitor production output and analyze HR/HR performance data to identifytop offenders and improvement opportunities.

Support new product launch projects and production ramp-up activities.

Provide support to the maintenance department to improve equipment efficiency and operational performance.

Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)

Active Student from engineering careers (graduation 2027)

Conversational english

Full time availability (monday to friday)

Microsoft Office, AutoCad, Lean Manufacturing
