Senior Cloud Network Engineer (Xico)

Colliers – A global leader in real estate services and investment management, with more than 23,000 professionals operating across 70 countries.Our entrepreneurial culture empowers our people to deliver their best, collaborate with specialists worldwide, and maximize every opportunity to lead the industry.Be innovative, be different, be influential – be all this and more at Colliers.Position Objective:This role will design, implement, and maintain scalable, secure, and cost-effective network interconnectivity across Colliers' platforms, with a strong focus on Google Cloud Platform (GCP) and Microsoft Azure.The position will collaborate with cross-functional teams to support cloud-native applications, automate infrastructure, and ensure high availability and performance of cloud environments, contributing to integral products and technology services that serve both internal and external customers.Key Responsibilities:- Design and manage secure cloud-based network infrastructure (primarily GCP).
- Lead integration projects between GCP and Azure.
- Configure and manage Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW).
- Develop Infrastructure as Code (IaC) templates with Terraform, Ansible, or Deployment Manager.
- Optimize hybrid and multi-cloud networking solutions (VPNs, interconnects, load balancers).
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and optimize network performance globally.
- Collaborate with architects, DevOps, cybersecurity, and development teams.
- Maintain documentation and ensure SLA/SLO compliance.Requirements:- 5+ years of experience in network services, mainly on GCP (VPC, Cloud VPN, Interconnect, Load Balancing, etc.).
- Proven experience in cloud integrations.
- Strong expertise with Palo Alto and NGFW in cloud environments.
- Proficiency in IaC and scripting (Terraform, Ansible).
- Experience deploying automated cloud network environments with DevOps/GitOps practices.
- Background in large-scale, international environments with compliance considerations.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field preferred.
- GCP certifications (Professional Cloud Architect, DevOps Engineer) are a plus.
