Civil Design | Experienced Engineer/Leader Knight Piésold is a specialized international consulting firm offering engineering and environmental services in Mining, Environment, Hydropower, and Water Resources.We are proud of the longstanding relationships we have with our clients and delivery of exceptional services on a general scale.The Civil Design Engineering Leader will manage the civil design team.This role will oversee and coordinate the preparation of civil engineering design documents including Auto CAD & Civil 3 D drawing packages, material quantity estimates, design reports and technical specifications, among others.Direct, lead and coordinate the work for the civil design discipline providing guidance, mentorship and performance feedback to ensure quality deliverables.Review the integration of technical activities and products related to design and engineering work in the office and on site.Prepare detailed proposals and schedules, planning and participating in site investigations, completing geotechnical and/or civil engineering analysis and design, preparing technical specifications and bid packages, overseeing construction projects.Maintain project documentation, including drawings, technical specifications and reports.Coordinate technical work within the local team, several disciplines and groups.Perform quality checks on designs.Represent the project team and present all elements of the technical design to clients.Communicate with other office leaders throughout the KP global group and help convey and facilitate the design requirements.S. degree in Civil Engineering.Bilingual in Spanish and English.Strong background in team leadership and people management.Extensive knowledge of Auto CAD, Civil 3 D and other similar technical software.Proven experience and ability for project/client management.
