The Production Manager is responsible for planning, coordinating, and overseeing all manufacturing operations to ensure production targets, quality standards, safety requirements, and cost objectives are achieved within the automotive manufacturing environment. This role drives operational efficiency, continuous improvement, and compliance with automotive industry standards.

Key Responsibilities

- Develop and execute daily, weekly, and monthly production plans.
- Ensure compliance with production schedules and customer delivery requirements.
- Monitor manufacturing processes to optimize productivity, quality, and efficiency.
- Lead and supervise production teams and shift supervisors.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality standards and procedures.
- Coordinate with Quality, Maintenance, Supply Chain, Logistics, and Engineering departments.
- Implement Lean Manufacturing, Kaizen, and continuous improvement initiatives.
- Monitor and analyze production KPIs and prepare performance reports.
- Control labor utilization, scrap, downtime, and operational costs.
- Ensure compliance with Health, Safety, and Environmental (HSE) regulations.
- Support new product launches and production transfers.
- Drive root cause analysis and corrective actions for production issues.
- Promote employee engagement, training, and development.
- Ensure compliance with IATF 16949 and customer-specific requirements.

Required Qualifications

- Bachelor’s degree in industrial engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, or related field.
- More than 3 years in a leadership or management role.
