Gerente de materiales y logística (Centro)

A leading manufacturing organization is seeking an experienced Materials and Logistics Manager to oversee Production Control, Materials Planning, and Logistics operations. This role is responsible for ensuring optimal inventory levels, on-time customer delivery, and efficient production flow while driving continuous improvement across the supply chain. Key Responsibilities
- Develop and execute production plans aligned with customer demand and plant capacity.
- Oversee material planning to ensure timely availability of raw materials and components.
- Manage inventory levels, accuracy, and control processes to minimize excess and shortages.
- Lead logistics operations, including shipping, receiving, warehousing, and transportation.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Purchasing, Production, Quality, and Sales to ensure seamless material flow.
- Monitor and improve key performance indicators (KPIs) such as On-Time Delivery, inventory turns, and production adherence.
- Drive continuous improvement initiatives to optimize costs, efficiency, and service levels.
- Lead, coach, and develop the materials team.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, safety standards, and quality requirements. Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Business Administration, Supply Chain, or related field (Master's preferred).
- 5–8+ years of experience in production control, material planning, and logistics within a manufacturing environment.
- Proven experience managing and developing teams.
- Strong knowledge of ERP/MRP systems.
- Advanced English proficiency.
