Manufacturing EngineerKey Responsibilities & Main Activities
- Manages purchasing systems and continuous improvement projects.
- Promotes a disciplined operational culture and develops improvement strategies to support business objectives.
- Works cross-functionally to plan, execute, and sustain improvements in business processes.
- Analyzes production processes and product requirements to determine the most efficient operations.
- Evaluates manufacturing processes and develops efficient automated and non‑automated systems.
- Tests existing and new production procedures.
- Supports implementation of manufacturing processes that result in high‑quality products.
- Applies knowledge of tooling design and manufacturing methods.
- Utilizes project management capability, commitment to quality, and familiarity with safety and environmental standards (environmental analysis).
- Ensures production lines operate efficiently and effectively to meet customer requirements.
- Evaluates manufacturing processes based on quality criteria such as efficiency and speed.
- Analyzes machine and production requirements.
- Identifies opportunities to reduce costs and maximize quality.
- Trains personnel on current and new processes.
- Ensures manufacturing processes comply with safety and environmental regulations.
- Updates systems and processes with new technologies.
- Manages Oracle systems.
- Interprets customer drawings and specification requirements; verifies circuit dimensions during first‑piece production.
- Verifies material quantities in Oracle against engineering drawings.
- Implements knowledge of wire harness manufacturing from wire stamping to final inspection.
- Creates production documentation and improves processes.
- Reviews board drawings against engineering prints.
- Designs FMEAs.
- Develops work instructions, manuals, and documentation for new equipment prior to launch and production use.

Experience / Skills
