Supplier Quality Professional (Guerrero)

Emerson is seeking a Supplier Quality Engineering professional to ensure manufacturability, process excellence, and supplier compliance. Based in Guadalajara, MX, the role collaborates with suppliers and internal teams to meet Emerson requirements and drive continuous improvement.

Responsibilities
- Ensure supplier quality performance and drive continuous improvement across the supply chain.
- Lead engineering initiatives to optimize production processes, reduce costs, and maintain compliance with industry standards.
- Develop and implement quality systems, conduct supplier audits, and collaborate with cross‑functional teams to resolve technical issues.
- Support new product introduction and process validation while maintaining robust documentation and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Influence supplier selection and qualification for critical components.
- Oversee manufacturing process improvements impacting cost, quality, and delivery.
- Work with suppliers and internal teams to achieve strategic objectives and ensure operational excellence.

Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
- Minimum 7+ years of experience in supplier quality and manufacturing engineering roles.
- Advanced English proficiency.

Manufacturing Qualifications
- PCBA assembly processes (SMT, wave soldering, conformal coating).
- Mechanical or top‑level assembly processes (housing assembly, screw fastening, heat sink assembly).
