To be considered as an intern at Cummins Mexico, you must remain enrolled through your University for the entire duration of your internship. Please review your enrollment dates carefully. Activities:
- Participate in machinery safety risk assessments and in determining alternative protective measures.
- Develop, review, and update the Machinery Safety Program.
- Create action plans to align current standards with Cummins HSE requirements.
- Validate operational controls in machinery. The student will be developed in:
- Global Safety Principles: Machinery Protection
- HSE Skills for Supervisors
- Cummins Machine Safety Risk Assessment Requirements:
- Availability for 1 year as an active student (enrolled at the University until June–July 2027).
- Availability to cover 7 morning hours from Monday to Friday, preferably from 8:00 a.m. to 3:00 p.m.
- Student of: Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Mechanical Engineering, or Mechatronics Engineering.
- Must have a Federal Taxpayer Registry (RFC).
- English level: Basic to Intermediate (speaking, writing, and listening).
