Schematics & Apparatus Engineer (Ciudad Sahagún)

At Alstom we are hiring a full‑time onsite Schematics & Apparatus Engineer in Sahagun, HID, MX. This role focuses on designing and developing advanced schematics and apparatus for rail transportation. Responsibilities
- Developing and reviewing electrical schematics for rail systems
- Ensuring compliance with technical specifications and industry standards
- Collaborating with cross‑functional teams to integrate electrical apparatus seamlessly
- Conducting technical analysis and feasibility studies for proposed designs
- Supporting the development of innovative solutions to improve system efficiency
- Reviewing and validating supplier documentation for apparatus components
- Providing technical support to manufacturing and testing teams
- Ensuring adherence to safety and quality standards in all deliverables
- Maintaining up‑to‑date knowledge of engineering tools and technologies
- Contributing to continuous improvement initiatives within the engineering department Qualifications
- Degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, or a related field
- Knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, as well as industry standards and regulations
- Familiarity with CAD tools and design software (e.g., AutoCAD, EPLAN, or similar)
- Strong communication and collaboration skills to work effectively with cross‑functional teams
- Experience or understanding of schematics design and apparatus integration in engineering projects
- Problem‑solving mindset and ability to analyze complex engineering challenges
