Are you an experienced **Sous Chef l**ooking for an exciting opportunity in Ireland? Só Hotels, a leading hospitality group with a reputation for excellence and high standards in hospitality, is seeking a talented Sous Chef to join our dynamic kitchen team. If you are passionate about culinary excellence and ready to relocate long-term, we want to hear from you!
**Important Note for Applicants**:
- Só Hotels is based in Ireland, and the entire recruitment process will be conducted **online**.
- Due to the **time difference (+7 hours)** between Mexico and Ireland, interviews will be scheduled **early in the morning Mexican time**.
- Please ensure you can accommodate this schedule before applying.
- **Minimum 5 years’ experience as a Sous Chef**, having worked in a variety of kitchens, including **European cuisine.**:
- **Availability to relocate and live long-term in Ireland**.
- **CV must be submitted in English**.
- **Advanced English proficiency**
- fluent speaking and understanding.
- **Valid passport**.
**Your Role**
As our Sous Chef, you will support the Head Chef in managing kitchen operations, supervising staff, maintaining high culinary standards, and ensuring the smooth daily running of all kitchen outlets.
**Responsibilities include**:
- Assist in menu development and meal planning.
- Prepare high-quality dishes according to standards.
- Lead, train, and motivate kitchen staff.
- Manage inventory, orders, and portion control.
- Ensure compliance with **HACCP, hygiene, and safety regulations**.
- Cover for the Head Chef when required.
- Liaise with other departments to meet guest expectations.
- Take full responsibility for food quality, presentation, and taste.
