We are seeking a skilled System Test Engineer with expertise in Battery Management Systems (BMS), automotive testing, and EV systems validation. The candidate will be responsible for system-level testing, validation, and integration of BMS functionalities for electric and hybrid vehicle applications.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform system-level testing and validation for Battery Management System (BMS) ECUs.
- Develop and execute functional, integration, regression, and end-to-end test cases.
- Validate BMS functionalities including SOC, SOH, cell balancing, thermal management, charging/discharging, and fault diagnostics.
- Perform CAN/LIN communication testing and diagnostics validation.
- Analyze system requirements, specifications, and prepare test plans and test procedures.
- Work with HIL setups, battery simulators, and vehicle-level test environments.
- Identify defects, perform root cause analysis, and support issue resolution activities.
- Execute validation activities for battery protection, safety logic, and power management systems.
- Collaborate with software, hardware, calibration, and system engineering teams.
- Prepare test reports, validation documentation, and requirement traceability matrices.
- Support vehicle integration and field testing activities.
- Ensure compliance with automotive quality and safety standards.
Required Skills
- Strong experience in BMS system testing and validation.
- Good understanding of EV architecture and battery systems.
- Knowledge of SOC/SOH algorithms, thermal management, and battery diagnostics.
- Hands-on experience with CAN, LIN, UDS diagnostics, and Automotive Ethernet.
- Experience with HIL systems such as dSPACE, Vector, or ETAS tools.
- Familiarity with CANoe/CANalyzer and automotive testing tools.
- Knowledge of MATLAB/Simulink is preferred.
- Experience in requirement analysis and test case development.
- Strong debugging and analytical skills.
- Good communication and teamwork abilities.
Preferred Qualifications
- Bachelor's/Master's degree in Electrical, Electronics, Automotive, Mechatronics, or related field.
- Experience in EV/Hybrid vehicle projects preferred.
