Business Development Representative (Outbound)

Overview:

If you’re comfortable making outbound calls, handling objections, and working in a performance-driven environment, this role is for you.

Our client, a growing Canadian financing company, is looking for a Business Development Representative to support their sales team by generating qualified credit applications and driving top-of-funnel growth.

This is a high-activity, call-focused role where you’ll engage prospects, guide them through the application process, and play a key role in revenue generation.

Key Responsibilities:

Make outbound calls to generate qualified leads and credit applications

Guide prospects through the initial application process

Collect and validate customer information (IDs, financial details, etc.)

Follow up with approved prospects to gather required documentation

Maintain clear, professional communication throughout the process

Contribute ideas to improve outreach and lead generation strategies

Support additional channels (email, SMS, campaigns) when relevant

Success in this role:

Consistently generate qualified applications through outbound activity while maintaining strong execution and communication..

Requirements:

Experience in cold calling, outbound sales, or lead generation

Strong spoken English (clear and confident on calls)

Organized, accountable, and self-driven

Ability to work independently and hit defined targets

Nice to Have:

Experience with financing / credit applications

Experience with email/SMS outreach or ads
