Senior Full Stack Developer – AWS Angular (Ciudad de México)

You will be joining Vanguard America’s digital experience team, a dynamic group supporting B2B Advisors technologies across Mexico, South America, and US offshore markets. As a Senior Full Stack Developer, you’ll play a critical role in building and enhancing secure and public-facing digital experiences for B2B clients in these regions. You will play a foundational role as part of Vanguard’s initial IT presence in Mexico. We are seeking a Senior Full‑Stack Developer to design, build, and support modern, cloud‑native web applications in a hybrid role based in our Mexico office. This role plays a critical part in delivering scalable, secure, and high‑performance digital solutions using Angular and AWS, while collaborating closely with cross‑functional partners across product, UX, security, and platform teams.

The idóneo candidate is a senior, hands‑on engineer with strong front‑end and back‑end expertise, deep experience building enterprise‑scale applications, and a solid understanding of modern architecture, security, and DevOps practices. The role spans the full software development lifecycle—from system design and development through deployment and production support.

This Hybrid Role (in office Tues‑Wed‑Thurs) is based in Mexico City, MX.

Responsibilities

Provides senior‑level system analysis, design, development, and implementation of full‑stack web applications leveraging Angular, Java/TypeScript, and AWS. Integrates third‑party platforms, services, and APIs.

Leads features end to end with strong grasp of implementation plan of features, architecture, capabilities/requirements from business, how it will work and how different parts connect together.

Translates business and technical requirements into secure, scalable solutions. Designs, develops, tests, and documents high‑quality code for complex new development and enhancement initiatives, with an emphasis on GraphQL, RESTful APIs and modular architecture.
