Job Profile: Java ArchitectJob Type: Full-time based job opportunity Location: Hybrid in Mexico City/ Guadalajara/ MonterreyJob Description: We are seeking an experienced Java Architect with 10+ years of expertise in designing and architecting enterprise-grade Java applications and distributed systems. The adecuado candidate will have deep hands-on experience with Spring Boot, RESTful APIs, Microservices architecture, cloud-native applications, and modern backend technologies. The Java Architect will be responsible for defining application architecture, establishing technical standards, leading development teams, and delivering scalable, secure, and high-performance solutions aligned with business objectives. Key Responsibilities Define and implement scalable, secure, and high-performance enterprise architecture solutions using Java and Spring Boot. Architect stand-alone, production-ready applications and Microservices-based platforms with minimal configuration. Design and develop RESTful APIs, backend services, and distributed systems for enterprise applications. Lead system architecture discussions, technical solution design, and technology selection processes. Create architecture blueprints, design documentation, integration strategies, and technical roadmaps. Drive best practices for coding standards, design patterns, scalability, maintainability, and security. Collaborate with business stakeholders, product teams, developers, Dev Ops, and QA teams to deliver end-to-end solutions. Provide technical leadership and mentorship to development teams across multiple projects. Design event-driven and asynchronous architectures using messaging and streaming platforms. Ensure application reliability, fault tolerance, observability, and performance optimization. Review code, conduct architecture governance, and support technical decision-making processes. Lead cloud migration and modernization initiatives for legacy enterprise applications. Support CI/CD implementation, Dev Ops automation, and containerized deployments. Required Skills ~10+ years of experience in Java application development and architecture. ~ Strong expertise in Core Java, JVM internals, multithreading, concurrency, collections, and performance tuning. ~ Extensive experience with Spring ecosystem: ~ Spring Boot ~ Spring MVC ~ Spring Security ~ Spring Data JPA ~ Spring Cloud ~ Expertise in designing RESTful APIs and Microservices architecture. ~ Strong knowledge of distributed systems, scalable backend architectures, and enterprise integration patterns. ~ Experience with API gateways, service discovery, load balancing, and resiliency patterns. ~ Hands-on experience with messaging technologies such as Kafka, Rabbit MQ, or Active MQ. ~ Strong experience with relational and No SQL databases such as Postgre SQL, My SQL, Oracle, Mongo DB, or Cassandra. ~ Experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and container orchestration platforms. ~ Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or GCP. ~ Strong understanding of CI/CD pipelines and Dev Ops practices using Jenkins, Git Hub Actions, Git Lab CI, or similar tools. ~ Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, Splunk, or Datadog. ~ Expertise in secure coding practices, API security, OAuth2, JWT, and authentication/authorization mechanisms. ~ Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, SOLID principles, and Agile methodologies.Preferred Qualifications Experience with event-driven architecture and reactive programming. Exposure to serverless and cloud-native architectures. Knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (Terraform, Cloud Formation). Experience with enterprise-scale digital transformation projects.
