Role Overview

As a Field Service Engineer, you will play a critical role in supporting customers through on-site technical service activities, including installation, implementation, maintenance, and repair of chromatography and spectroscopy systems. You will work with a variety of hardware, software, and networking solutions, ensuring optimal system performance and high customer satisfaction.

Key Responsibilities
- Provide on-site support to customers, including installation, configuration, maintenance, and repair of company and multi‑vendor systems.
- Install and optimize hardware, software, and network configurations at customer sites.
- Diagnose and resolve technical and performance‑related issues in analytical instruments.
- Perform preventive maintenance and corrective service activities.
- Advise customers on best practices for system use, maintenance, and configuration to improve performance and reliability.
- Proactively identify potential equipment or software issues to minimize downtime and ensure business continuity.
- Deliver fully integrated solutions (non‑design role), including peripherals, communications, operating systems, and application software.
- Act as a technical resource for internal teams and manage product escalations when necessary.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Support, Sales, Marketing, and R&D; teams to deliver effective customer solutions.
- Provide technical training, workshops, and seminars for customers and internal teams.
- Train and mentor other field engineers when needed.
- Perform on‑site calibration for high‑volume customers.
- Support lead qualification activities when required.

Territory & Travel
- Primary coverage: State of Mexico and Morelos
- Approximately 85% of time spent visiting customer sites

Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry, Pharmacy, Biology, or a related scientific field
- Strong English proficiency
- Valid driver’s license (required)
- Willingness and ability to travel extensively
