- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or contractors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout office areas, common spaces, parking areas, and the perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points and visitor activity, help to verify credentials and/or permissions, and communicate with site contacts regarding security-related concerns or operational needs.
- Support a professional environment at a technology-focused location by maintaining a visible presence, providing directions and assistance, and reporting maintenance, access, and/or policy-related issues. **Minimum Requirements**:
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- A state, county, or city issued security-related license is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
