- 07:00 PM **How This Role Works**:
- **Fixed-Shift Commitment ("Anchor Shifts")**: You will be hired for a designated site and weekly shift that serves as your reliable base schedule. This assignment requires a six (6) month commitment.
- **Earn More, Claim-A-Shift Program**: In addition to your fixed shift, you may pick-up extra shifts through our scheduling platform, allowing you to increase earnings and gain experience across multiple sites. Work part-time hours this week and full-time the next. It's all up to you. **Responsibilities**:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or vendors by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and when appropriate, emergency response activities at a technology-focused location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting concerns to site contacts and/or Allied Universal leadership.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout buildings, work areas, parking areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify unusual conditions.
- Monitor access points, verify credentials where required, and assist with visitor processing and/or entry control procedures in accordance with site protocols.
- Support day-to-day operations by communicating clearly with staff and guests, following post orders, and completing required reports related to security-related incidents and/or activities. **Minimum Requirements**:
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- A guard card and/or license is preferred.
- Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
