Assistant Professor of Management (Colón)

Arkansas State University campus in Querétaro, México (A-State Campus Querétaro, or A-State CQ) invites applications for a faculty position to teach and research in the areas of Principles of Management, International Management, Social Impact Management, Strategic Management, Entrepreneurship, HR Management, Leadership, or Small Business Management. We are seeking dynamic, qualified colleagues who use modern methods and pedagogies in the classroom. All faculty candidates must have a PhD in Management. Additional preference will be given to candidates with educational and teaching experience in the United States. The language of instruction is English. The successful candidate will contribute to teaching introductory and upper-level undergraduate courses in the relevant area mentioned above as well as conduct high-quality research and publish in peer-reviewed journals. In addition to teaching and research, other job responsibilities include collaborating with administration, staff, other faculty, students, and stakeholders to foster a climate of academic excellence, participating in the management of the campus through shared governance, and helping recruit students and faculty to the campus. Faculty must meet all relevant qualifications for similar employment at Arkansas State University. However, faculty will NOT become employees of Arkansas State University – instead, they will be employed by a private sector foundation registered in Mexico for this purpose. Compensation in Mexican pesos will be guided by prevailing Mexican rates for university faculty with the expectation that A-State CQ intends to be a preferred employer among institutions of higher education in Mexico.
