Overview To assist in administering Watlow’s domestic credit and collection processes and policies by working with customers and internal Watlow teams to increase cash flow. Responsibilities
- Uses judgment to know when to refer issues to others
- Recommends and implements solutions within designated area of responsibility
- Demonstrates knowledge and expertise in computer systems
- Uses resources to learn the business
- Identifies ways to reduce waste and improve business processes
- Understands how actions impact business results
- Transfers knowledge from one situation to the next
- Complies with internal controls and policies
- Demonstrates approachability and openness
- Establishes credibility
- Demonstrates excellent interpersonal listening and communication capabilities
- Conforms to behaviors consistent with organizational culture
- Uses the Watlow Business System to achieve results
- Works the reporting system and performs analysis pertaining to Credit and Collections
- Review creditworthiness of new and existing customers
- Monitor customer adherence to established credit terms
- Collect past due amounts from Watlow customers, both domestic and international
- Resolve Watlow customer payment discrepancies
- Perform daily lock box and electronic payment functions
- Maintain Watlow’s vendor & customer masters
- Maintain required customer contact documentation
- Supports the Function in its Watlow Business System (WBS) Maturity progression, including participating in daily, weekly and monthly meetings and gemba walks as a part of the team, and actively engaging in lean improvement efforts including Value Stream assessments, kaizen events, projects, Rapid Improvement Events (RIEs) and problem solving
- Participate in opportunity decision making including understanding the impact to the organization
- Works independently to complete projects and tasks as assigned

- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience (3-5 years)
