This position is responsible for executing key processes of the employee lifecycle, including recruitment of operational and administrative staff, pre-payroll administration, and compliance with legal obligations before IMSS and STPS. The HR Generalist acts as a close point of contact for employees, ensuring internal policies are applied fairly, promoting a positive work climate, and guaranteeing the plant has the necessary talent to meet production plans.
Responsibilities
- Talent Acquisition: Manage the recruitment and selection process for operational (direct) and administrative (indirect) positions, including interviews and psychometric testing.
- Payroll Administration: Collect attendance records (absences, tardiness, overtime) for payroll processing and ensure that benefits and deductions are applied correctly.
- Labor Relations: Address employee concerns, manage disciplinary measures in accordance with the Federal Labor Law, and coordinate termination processes (settlements/terminations).
- Training & Development: Support the identification of training needs (TNA) and ensure compliance with training plans submitted to the STPS (Form DC-3).
- Records & Onboarding: Maintain up-to-date employee files and manage new hires, terminations, and salary changes with the IDSE/IMSS.
- Organizational Culture and Climate / Culture & Engagement: Organize integration events, coordinate work climate surveys and support in the implementation of NOM-035 (Psychosocial risk factors).
Qualifications
- Education: Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Psychology, Industrial Relations, or a related field.
- Experience: 3 to 5 years in generalist roles within the manufacturing industry (experience with operational staff is essential).
- Legal Knowledge: Proficiency in the Federal Labor Law, Social Security Law, and basic knowledge of INFONAVIT and FONACOT.
- Software: Experience with payroll/HR systems (Contpaqi Payroll, SAP SuccessFactors, etc.) and intermediate level of Microsoft Excel.
- Soft Skills: High empathy, negotiation skills, discretion in handling confidential information, and excellent communication skills.
