Objectives of this Role:

Level 1 Network Support Engineer will monitor the networks and ensure security standards are met.

Network Engineers will also be responsible for troubleshooting and fixing problems.

Job Description for Network Support Engineer:

· The 1st Line Network Engineer will be expected to work through helpdesk tickets and will be expected

to go out on site to visit clients.

· Need to thrive on multi-tasking as they complete tasks like installing/maintaining servers (virtual and

physical), supporting workstations, resolving OS and application faults, as well as identifying and

resolving network connectivity issues.

· Installation/Configuration of Routers and Switches.

· Troubleshooting and resolving network-based problems for customers or Troubleshooting circuit faults

and working with carriers to achieve fault resolution.

· Handling customer enquiries and support issues using a ticketing system

· Proactive network monitoring of alarms via monitoring tools

· Ensuring SLA's are not breached
