Sr. Procurement Buyer - Automotive (Electronics / Motors) …, Huejotzingo

We are looking for a Sr. Procurement Buyer with strong experience in electronics or motor components sourcing within the automotive industry. This role is responsible for executing sourcing strategies, managing supplier relationships, and ensuring cost competitiveness and supply continuity for critical components in a fast-paced, global environment. Key Responsibilities Lead sourcing and supplier selection for electronic components, PCBs, semiconductors, and/or electric motors . Negotiate pricing, contracts, and long-term agreements with global and regional suppliers. Manage supply risks, including capacity constraints, long lead times, and market volatility . Ensure continuity of supply to support production and avoid disruptions. Drive supplier performance across Quality, Cost, Delivery, and Sustainability (QCDS) . Support new program launches (SOP), engineering changes, and ramp-ups . Collaborate with cross-functional teams (Engineering, Quality, Operations, Supply Chain). Provide market intelligence and cost analysis to support strategic decisions. Align regional execution with integral sourcing strategies. Qualifications ~ Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. ~5+ years of experience in automotive procurement or sourcing . ~ Proven experience in electronics and/or motor components (required) . ~ Strong understanding of electronics supply chain, lead times, and supplier constraints . ~ Advanced negotiation and analytical skills. ~ Experience working with Tier 1 and Tier 2 suppliers . ~ Knowledge of automotive standards (PPAP, APQP, IATF 16949). ~ Advanced English required.
