Business Unit Description: Bitron Group's Automotive Business Unit, led by Bitron Spa, is a leading general supplier with expertise in various components for the automotive market, such as Human Machine Interfaces (HMI), powertrain, transmissions, chassis, electric vehicles, motorcycles, and industrial vehicles. Our manufacturing plants are located in different parts of the world, which helps us be close to car manufacturers (OEMs) and find the best solutions for their needs, even for complex applications.

About the Role:

The Process Engineer will be responsible for defining, designing, and implementing internal manufacturing procedures for assembly processes and joining technologies, ensuring the correct application of process parameters in coordination with Projects, Industrialization, and Quality teams. This role will ensure compliance with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, ISO 14001, ISO 45001, Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs), and organizational standards, contributing to optimal levels of quality, safety, cost efficiency, and on-time delivery.

Main Responsibilities:

Participate in the design, definition, and costing of assembly processes for new product developments based on project requirements and specifications. Manage timelines, costs, and engineering changes related to process and product modifications. Support assembly line and workstation validation activities with suppliers and internal teams, including APQP, capability studies, red rabbits, and process releases. Define and control process parameters and machine set-up conditions using statistical methods and quality tools. Analyze production KPIs and process capability data to identify improvement opportunities through Lean Manufacturing and Six Sigma methodologies. Work closely with Quality, Maintenance, Methods, Safety, and Environmental teams to ensure compliance and continuous process improvement. Support supplier quotation evaluations and cost-benefit analysis for manufacturing processes. Prepare technical and cost-related presentations to support Project Leaders in internal and customer communications.

Who we are looking for:

Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical, Mechatronics, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering. 3 years of experience in assembly processes development,machine set-up, validation and industrialization within the automotive industry. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing, and continuous improvement methodologies. Familiarity with ISO 9001, IATF 16949, and Customer Specific Requirements (CSRs). Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Advanced English level preferred. Automotive Core Tools (APQP, PPAP, PFMEA, SPC, MSA, AMEF). Descriptive Statistics. Cost Engineering. Data Modeling and Dashboard Development.
