Plastic Injection Technician (Jurica)

Job OverviewNorth America IML Containers, Inc. is a family‑owned company that manufactures containers for the food industry. We have an immediate opening for a Full‑Time Plastic Injection Technician who will install, maintain, and troubleshoot industrial machinery in our manufacturing plant.ResponsibilitiesRead and interpret engineering blueprints.Install new production equipment.Perform production changeovers and ensure quality meets technical requirements.Service and maintain equipment such as motors, conveyors, transmissions, and other production machinery.Inspect and assess the functionality of production machines.Troubleshoot mechanical breakdowns.Adjust mechanical parts using hand and machine tools.Fabricate parts for repairs and machine upgrades.Conduct routine maintenance and safety checks.Communicate with the production team and maintain a clean work area.Prepare and submit maintenance reports.RequirementsBachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or a related field.Previous work experience as an industrial maintenance technician.Bilingual in Spanish and English; additional languages are an asset.In‑depth knowledge of mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.Knowledge of parametric and industrial control systems.Familiarity with ISO safety standards and regulations.Excellent troubleshooting and basic computer/report‑writing skills.Good communication and time‑management skills.Physical ability to lift and manipulate heavy equipment.Ability to travel to Canada, Quebec, and the USA for the first six months of employment.US visa holder (B1/B2).Equal Opportunity EmploymentIML Container Mexico is an equal opportunity employer.
