IT Intern (Parque Industrial American Industries Apodaca)

Position Summary The IT Intern will support the Information Technology area by assisting with daily technical and administrative operations that ensure reliable technology services for the organization. This role provides hands-on exposure to IT support processes, systems administration, asset management, and process documentation. The intern will collaborate with IT team members to resolve support requests, maintain accurate technology inventories, assist with procurement and warranty management, and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an excellent opportunity to develop technical, analytical, and customer service skills within a professional industrial environment while applying academic knowledge to real-world IT operations. Required Qualifications
- Basic knowledge of ticketing systems
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365
- Familiarity with Windows 10 and Windows 11
- Strong teamwork skills, proactive mindset, time management, and sense of responsibility Preferred Qualifications
- Currently enrolled from the 6th semester onward
- Active student in Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Proactive, well-organized, and eager to learn Position Overview The Intern will collaborate closely with the assigned team, providing support for daily operational and administrative activities while participating in strategic projects. Responsibilities include managing IT support requests through ticketing systems, assisting with purchasing processes and RFQs, and administering warranties for computer equipment. The role also involves managing laser printer consumables, maintaining accurate IT inventory records, and supporting documentation and process mapping for IT processes. Additionally, the intern will provide remote and on-site customer service support, contribute to process-focused initiatives, and ensure activities are completed in a timely and organized manner. This position offers valuable exposure to real-world business operations and an excellent opportunity to develop professional skills in a collaborative, fast-paced environment.
