Your JobThe Accounts Payable Specialist is responsible for reviewing, analyzing, and posting supplier invoices, identifying and resolving issues that prevent proper posting, and ensuring compliance with internal accounting procedures. This role supports accurate financial records and ensures timely vendor payments.What You Will Do in Your RoleReview and analyze incoming supplier invoices to ensure accuracy and proper documentationPerform 3-way matching of invoices, purchase orders, and receiptsRecord and post invoices in the company's accounting systemIdentify errors, discrepancies, or missing information preventing invoice postingFollow up with suppliers and internal departments to resolve invoice issuesMaintain proper documentation and invoice traceabilityEnsure compliance with accounting policies and tax proceduresReconcile accounts payable transactions and vendor statementsMonitor aging reports and ensure timely payment of invoicesRespond to vendor inquiries professionally and promptlySupport finance team during month-end closing and reporting activitiesPropose improvements to invoice processing and validation proceduresEnsure proper documentation for all AP transactions, including tax compliancePerform CFDI & SAT invoice validationsApply VAT and manage Income Tax WithholdingsWho You Are (Basic Qualifications)English language proficiency1–3+ years of accounts payable, general accounting experience, or basic understanding of accounting principlesProficiency in Excel and Microsoft OfficeStrong communication skillsStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage high volumes of documentsWhat Will Put You AheadStrong data entry accuracy and attention to detailProblem-solving skills with ability to resolve discrepanciesExperience in vendor managementEffective time management and multitasking skillsKnowledge of financial systems and accounting processesAbout the CompanyWe are a fast-growing B2B company with a strong internal culture that values respect for others, diversity, serving a greater purpose, and passionate creativity.
