AI Agent Engineer — Remote, Full-Time Speedrack West distributes and custom-fabricates warehouse racking systems. We're a 40-person general team headquartered in the USA. We run on custom-built software deeply integrated across our ERP, CRM, VoIP, and logistics stack — and we're building autonomous AI agents to compete above our weight class. What this role is You'll design, build, and ship AI agents that do real work across the business. Not research. Not demos. Production systems where LLMs reason over live business data, orchestrate multi-step workflows, and actually change how we operate. You care about getting it right, not just getting it done. You'll work across the full stack of modern agent development: prompt design, tool calling, function calling, agent orchestration, and observability. What you'll build Early focus is infrastructure for sales and marketing agentic workflows: Agentic infrastructure — build the runtime, tool registry, and MCP server that make every future agent faster to ship and easier to operate Pipeline intelligence — score deal health from CRM activity and call transcript signals; draft re-engagement for at-risk opportunities before they go cold Inbound lead qualification — research and score every new lead in real time; draft personalized first-touch outreach for high-fit prospects Call intelligence — process every recorded sales call; extract objections, competitive signals, and buying intent; surface weekly insights to the sales team Customer expansion — identify who in the customer base is likely to buy again and what, then draft targeted outreach From there: operations, fulfillment, finance — plus the infrastructure that makes the next agent fast to ship (CICD, automated testing, agent runtime, MCP, observability).
