Responsibilities
- Evaluates, selects, and applies standard engineering methods and techniques on work of small projects or on portions of larger projects.
- Receives instructions on specific assignment objectives, complex features, and assistance in deriving possible solutions to unusual problems.
- Perform structural analysis and design of steel, concrete, masonry, and (where applicable) wood structures for industrial and highperformance facilities.
- Develop and review design calculations, models, and drawings for:
- Building frames and foundations
- Equipment foundations, pipe racks, platforms, mezzanines, and support structures
- Structural modifications to existing facilities
- Apply relevant building codes and standards (e.g., IBC, ASCE 7, AISC, ACI, local codes).
- Work as part of a multidiscipline project team (architectural, mechanical, electrical, process, civil, etc.) to coordinate structural requirements and interfaces.
- Contributes to quality assurance/quality control (QA/QC) reviews for structural deliverables.
- Reviews construction documents (plans, sections, details, specifications).
- Support the development of structural design criteria and basisofdesign documents.
- Reviews work with supervisor to ensure the application of sound engineering practices and professional judgment.
- Performs design work on CADD. . . What You Will Bring: -


- Bachelor´s degree in Civil engineering, with a structural emphasis (or equivalent).
- Cédula and Titulo are a mandatory requirement
- Eight to twelve (8
- 12) direct years of experience as Structural Engineer / Project Engineer / Structural Design Engineer
- Experience with previous large-commercial projects such as Hotels, Airports, Universities, Corporate Office, etc.
- Proficiency with structural analysis and design software such as ETABS, SAP2000, STAAD, RAM, RISA or similar.
- Experience with building codes and standards such as: IBC, ASCE 7, ASIC, ACI (an others as applicable).
- Prior experience with AutoCAD and Revit
- Advanced English (Will report to US office) . .
- Desirable Skills:
- Experience with structural work on mid- to large-size projects.
- Familiarity with BIM workflows and multi-discipline model coordination.
- Working knowledge of Revit for coordination and markup. . . . What We Bring: -
