Supervisor Operations (Lerma de Villada)

We are looking for an **Operations Supervisor** to join our team and support the business in Lerma.

This job is for you if you are keen to manage overall plant operations, ensuring employee safety, product quality, and production target achievements.

**_ What you’ll do:_**
- You will lead a production team and control production lines to achieve our targets and KPIs. In this team-oriented role, you will ensuring overall smooth operations among your team according to plans.
- Ensure the safety of the product in the production process.
- You will be able to enhance your leadership and interpersonal skills by working closely with our Quality, EHS, and Warehouse Management teams for mutual accomplishments.
- As a key player in our factory, you will enforce strict compliance to standard operating procedures (SOPs), Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), EHS policies and procedures, as well as other internal and external regulations. You will therefore actively participate in prevention and correction of related issues and concerns, through action plans and improvement initiatives.
- As a people leader, you will coach your people, develop their competence, and see them grow professionally. Sensient will provide you with tools and resources to support your people development.
- Attention to internal and external audits.

**_What you’ll bring:_**
- To be successful in this job, you ideally bring a bachelor’s degree (Chemical engineering, food chemist, food engineer, Industrial Engineer or related fields) plus an extensive experience in a manufacturing environment.
- Knowledge in food processing, packaging, quality, supply chain, and GMPs will give you an advantage in performing your jobs.
- Your role as a team leader requires you to manage people. Communication and people skills are also what we are expecting of a team leader.
