Sterilization Operations Supervisor (Nuevo Laredo)

General Objective Responsible for supervising and coordinating terminal sterilization activities. Ensures systems, resources and schedules meet operation compliance with SOPs, cGMP, 21 CFR Part 820, IS011135, IS013485 and safety procedures.

Responsibilities
- Implement operational strategies and plans by collecting, analyzing, and preparing reports for review by management.
- Ensure customer product is properly received, stored, and tracked to minimize damage.
- Maintain machines and equipment for proper operation and minimize downtime; perform minor repairs as needed.
- Monitor shipping to ensure accurate documentation and minimal damage.
- Lead staff through coaching, counseling, motivation, and discipline; plan, monitor, and appraise job results, fostering intra- and inter-department cooperation.
- Attend training to maintain mechanical and technical skills; train operators and material handlers for basic repairs.
- Maintain backup Operator capability.
- Ensure a safe, clean, secure work environment; enforce procedures, monitor systems, report unsafe practices, and identify training needs.
- Monitor production, scheduling, and GMP compliance daily.
- Control sterilization processes from the workstation in the Control Room.
- Communicate shift‑to‑shift continuity and discuss production, maintenance, or quality issues.
- Support processing documentation and validation efforts.
- Promote personal protection and issue monitoring devices in hazardous areas.

Technical Experience / Knowledge
- Medical device manufacturing experience.
- Production supervisor or process engineer experience with strong communication skills.
- Background in mechanical, mechatronics, or chemical engineering (3‑5 years).
