Supervisor I, Production (Matehuala)

Position Overview Reporting directly to the Production Manager, the Production Supervisor will oversee medium to large teams involved in manufacturing operations at Littelfuse, ensuring efficient, quality‐focused production that meets customer and operational goals. Responsibilities Supervise and coordinate daily production activities to meet operational targets for safety, quality, delivery, and cost. Ensure effective utilization of manpower, materials, and equipment, balancing workforce according to production demand. Monitor attendance and punctuality, applying internal policies as needed. Stop operations that do not meet technical specifications and promptly escalates issues. Maintain control of materials, including work‐in‐process, scrap, and material flow. Communicate performance, goals, and updates through tier meetings, ensuring alignment on results and departmental objectives. Support continuous improvement initiatives using lean manufacturing tools such as 5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, and Poka‐Yoke. Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering or a related field. Minimum of 2+ years' experience in similar manufacturing supervisory roles. Knowledge of lean manufacturing methodologies (5S, TPM, Kanban, SMED, Poka‐Yoke). Basic understanding of manufacturing machinery and equipment. Experience managing personnel and leading teams. Strong conflict management, adaptability, and trust‐building skills. Ability to enforce company policies and internal work regulations. Location Matehuala, San Luis Potosí.
