Education and Experience RequirementsBachelor's Degree Public Accountant required. 5 years Maquiladora.Position Purpose: This position will lead part of the Mexicali accounting team that may include any of the following groups: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Tax and/or Treasury functions. The accounting lead will report directly to the accounting manager.Previous experience leading teams (preferred). ERP systems.Fully bilingual (able to communicate fluently in English). Job DescriptionPrinciple Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions:ASSIGN DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY TASKS TO THE TEAM, ESTABLISHING PRIORITIES BY POSITION.REVIEW PREPAYROLL, PAYROLL AND EMPLOYEE PAYMENTS EVERY WEEK.REVIEW WEEKLY ACCOUNTS PAYABLES, CONFIRMING THE ACCURACY INTERNAL CONTROLS.REVIEW AND APPROVE JOURNAL ENTRIES AND RECONCILIATIONS.REVIEW THE TAXES PAYMENTS.Correct issues identified in various account reconciliations.Additional Functions:Assist in Accounting Continuous Improvement efforts, analyzing VAT Devolutions and ensuring Internal Controls are being followed.Provide training to accounting/finance team.Other Requirements:ENGLISH 90%, KNOWLEDGE OF SAP AND TRESS, TAX KNOWLEDGE, TEAMWORK LEADERSHIP.Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications is required, principally Excel.Perform other duties as assigned.A credit history check from a national credit bureau will be conducted for all candidates for this position including new hires and current employees seeking promotion or transfer.Equal Opportunity Employer / Individuals with Disabilities / Protected Veterans.Gulfstream does not provide work visa sponsorship for this position, unless the applicant is a currently sponsored Gulfstream employee. #J-*****-Ljbffr Postúlate en Kit Empleo: kitempleo.com.mx/empleo/5uqz6n
