Education and Experience Requirements

Bachelor's Degree Public Accountant required. 5 years Maquiladora. Position Purpose :This position will lead part of the Mexicali accounting team that may include any of the following groups: Accounts Payable, Payroll, Accounts Payable, Tax and/or Treasury functions. Principle Duties and Responsibilities:Essential Functions: ASSIGN DAILY/WEEKLY/MONTHLY TASKS TO THE TEAM, ESTABLISHING PRIORITIES BY POSITION . REVIEW PREPAYROLL, PAYROLL AND EMPLOYEE PAYMENTS EVERY WEEK .

REVIEW WEEKLY ACCOUNTS PAYABLES, CONFIRMING THE ACCURACY INTERNAL CONTROLS .

REVIEW AND APPROVE JOURNAL ENTRIES AND RECONCILIATIONS .

REVIEW THE TAXES PAYMENTS .

Correct issues identified in various account reconciliations.

Additional Functions

Assist in Accounting Continuous Improvement efforts, analyzing VAT Devolutions and ensuring Internal Controls are being followed. . Provide training to accounting/finance team .

Perform other duties as assigned.Other Requirements:

ENGLISH 90%, KNOWLEDGE OF SAP AND TRESS, TAX KNOWLEDGE, TEAMWORK LEADERSHIP, Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office applications is required, principally Excel.
