Quality Engineering Intern (Linares)

Quality Intern (Students Only)

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Quality Intern to support our Quality team. This opportunity is designed exclusively for currently enrolled students who are interested in gaining hands-on experience in Quality Management Systems, process improvement, and compliance.

Key Responsibilities:

- Assist in maintaining and updating Quality Management System (QMS) documentation
- Support internal audit preparation and follow-up on action items
- Help collect, organize, and analyze quality data and performance metrics
- Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives
- Support tracking and documentation of corrective and preventive actions (CAPA)
- Assist with document control processes (revision, distribution, and archiving)
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure quality standards are met
- Provide general support to the Quality team in daily activities and projects

Qualifications:

- Currently enrolled student pursuing a degree in Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Quality, or a related field
- Basic knowledge of quality principles or ISO 9001 (preferred)
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Analytical and problem-solving mindset
- Good communication skills
- Intermediate to advanced English proficiency
- Basic knowledge of Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

Preferred Skills:

- Familiarity with quality tools such as 5 Whys, Ishikawa, or 8D (a plus)
- Proactive attitude and eagerness to learn
- Ability to work in a team-oriented environment
