San Roberto International School is one of the top international schools in Monterrey, one of the most important cities in Mexico. We have two campuses; San Agustin and Valle Alto. Both campuses were accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools (SACS) in December 2002, and currently hold the accreditation by SACS, now as a division of AdvancED. It is a Pre‑Kindergarten to Grade 9 private day school, teaching ages 3 to 15 bilingually in Spanish and English. The San Agustin campus school is located west of San Pedro Garza García and the Valle Alto campus school is located south of Monterrey. Job Purpose To teach the subjects of Spanish and Social Sciences, integrating them making effective the teaching‑learning process of knowledge, skills and attitudes. Support the students during the execution of the activities of the class and carry out the corresponding evaluation for each of the students. Participate and collaborate in the special internal and external activities of the program. Specifications
- Skills: Creativity, willingness, cooperation, collaboration, teamwork, positive attitude and service, vocation, patience, openness to change, with initiation.
- Knowledge: Knowledge of different topics of the subject.
- Experience: Two years of experience in front of a group.
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree with credits in the teaching area. Responsibilities
- Prepare in a timely manner the planning of activities to be developed within your classroom.
- Commit to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of all pupils, and undertake appropriate child protection training when required.
- Comply with the training plan of the area; some sessions may be held on the other campus and when required, outside of school days and hours.
- Collaborate in the realization of special events.
- Attend meetings scheduled during the school year.
- Maintain a spirit of self‑improvement and preparation in the area in which it operates.
- Perform teaching work with dedication and responsibility, so that students achieve maximum use.
- Supervise and report the maintenance of physical resources, keeping them in optimal condition.
- Request material and equipment necessary for the development of activities, and request repairs of existing items when necessary. All post holders in regulated activity (having regular unsupervised contact with children) are subject to appropriate national and international vetting procedures including satisfactory criminal record checks from both your country of residence/birth and any country of residence within the last 10 years.
