About the role As an Embedded Software Engineer , you will be part of a general engineering team developing advanced embedded control solutions for Carrier's products. This role plays a key part in designing and developing firmware that integrates embedded systems with cloud, mobile, and IoT technologies to deliver innovative solutions. Key Responsibilities: As an Embedded Software Engineer, you'll be responsible for: Developing embedded software for Carrier's equipment and refrigeration control systems Designing and implementing firmware solutions for embedded platforms Collaborating with cross-functional teams including systems, hardware, validation, and manufacturing Participating in Agile software development processes Leading or supporting development projects and technical initiatives Developing prototype and test software for validation purposes Writing software specifications and test plans Participating in design reviews, code inspections, and risk analysis activities Supporting system integration and ensuring compliance with requirements Balancing responsibilities between sustaining and new product development projects Requirements We are looking for people who are innovative, detail-oriented, and passionate about embedded systems and technology development.
