We are seeking an experienced Senior Windows & Linux Server Administrator to lead and support our enterprise server infrastructure. This role focuses on stability, performance, and operational excellence across Windows and Linux environments, with responsibilities that include system architecture, automation, troubleshooting, and mentorship of junior staff. Key Responsibilities
- Architect, deploy, and manage enterprise Windows Server and Linux environments
- Lead server infrastructure projects and technical initiatives
- Ensure high availability, performance, and reliability of critical systems
- Administer and optimize Linux services across multiple distributions
- Implement patching, system maintenance, and lifecycle management
- Lead backup, disaster recovery, and business continuity efforts
- Troubleshoot complex system issues and perform root cause analysis
- Automate administrative tasks using PowerShell, Bash, Python, or similar tools
- Design and maintain monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions
- Collaborate with networking, security, and application teams
- Mentor junior administrators and establish best practices
- Create and maintain technical documentation and standards
- Participate in on-call rotations and lead incident response efforts Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or equivalent experience
- 7+ years of hands‑on experience administering Windows and Linux server environments
- Expert‑level knowledge of Windows Server (2016/2019/2022/2025) and Linux distributions
- Strong experience with virtualization platforms (VMware, Hyper‑V, KVM)
- Advanced understanding of networking, storage, and system administration concepts
- Proven experience with scripting and automation
- Excellent troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills Leadership & Soft Skills
- Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and infrastructure projects
- Strong communication skills with technical and non‑technical stakeholders
- Experience mentoring and supporting junior team members
