Technology & Global Services Plant Information Technology Leader Manufacturing environment IT position focused on customer empowerment & success through tight customer relationships, Lean & Continuous Improvement initiatives, enterprise support leveraging, standards, and collaboration between sites. Responsibilities Act as the conduit between Local Manufacturing Operations and our enterprise Technology & Global Services group (TGS), partnering with the Plant Leadership Team (Plant Manager/Director, Plant Controller, Engineering Manager, Facilities Manager, Quality/Regulatory Manager, CI Manager, H.R. Manager) Facilitate, manage, improve, sustain and report on initiatives related to Plant IT, including local ownership of BDX Technology Serve as Plant Leadership Team TGS Contact and direct route to TGS LT and other TGS towers Build partnerships, manage escalations/ownership of issues and concerns, and provide communication, support, direction and guidance of initiatives Leverage/standardize site‐specific technologies across sites where applicable; integrate technology, manage local IT projects, provide vendor support, assess infrastructure needs, manage purchased/un-installed equipment, update IT/OT refresh roadmaps, and handle unused/retired hardware Provide enterprise accountability for local technologies: refresh and expansion requirements, new line/lab/warehouse, application lifecycle management, procedure guidance, collaboration, application portfolio SME, IDF MDF maintenance and support, capacity planning, upgrades and updates to operational technology in the IT genre, handhelds, forklift tracking, vision systems Represent compliance, CI & safety initiatives: DR BCP, IT contacts, backup and restore process, critical systems inventory, software validation requirements, simplified process tied to local requirements, ISO, Lean, CI initiatives, audit support, blitz, E2E CI process guidance Qualifications Required Technical background – infrastructure, PC server, firewall, network, development, or manufacturing execution systems Experience with continuous improvement Strong communication skills Project management experience Preferred Lean Six Sigma Regulatory background a plus COVID-19 vaccination proof may be required in certain roles.
