We are looking for a: Continuous Improvement Coordinator (Site Escobedo)

The candidate will join our site in General Escobedo.

The ideal candidate will work with all departments to create excellence within the Brembo workforce, specifically in the areas of Continuous Improvement.

Responsibilities:

- Cost Deployment / Focused Improvement (WCM): Optimize the methods for populating the loss prioritization matrix. Lead Kaizen events and other improvements initiatives based on plant’s needs. Standardize project documenting/tracking methods. Continue to expand our 3D printing capabilities. Continue to develop in Industry 4.0. Manage Focused Improvement pillar and support all Brembo WCM initiatives.
- Shopfloor Management (WCM): Manage Employee Suggestion Program and Brembo Excellence Awards. Improve and sustain 5S principles in the plant. Manage autonomous maintenance activities drive cleaning time reduction by eliminating sources of contamination. Manage camera systems in the plant for root cause analysis.
- People Development (WCM): Saturate the plant with WCM knowledge. Increase the number of people in the plant that can lead projects.
- Safety/Environmental (WCM): Support safety improvement initiatives and follow safety guidelines as defined by the plant.
- Quality (WCM): Support quality improvement initiatives. Management of documents; Operator/Tooling Instructions, AM instructions, and OPL’s.

Main requirements:

- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, Science or equivalent experience.
- Master of Science Lean Manufacturing is preferred
- 8+ years of operations / engineering experience.
- Project Management Skills (PMP)
- Lean Manufacturing
- Six Sigma Green/Black Belt is preferred

- Results-oriented with strong sense of urgency.
- High level of empathy with candidate centric approach.
