If you are looking for a dynamic environment focused on continuous improvement and professional growth, this position is for you! ** Job Title**: Indutrial Engineer 2nd Shift **Department**: Engineering **Reports to**: Engineering Manager ** Role Purpose**: Ensure safe and efficient manufacturing processes for value-added HCS-related products at HARTING Mexico Manufacturing, driving continuous improvement in quality, methods, and audit performance. ** Key Responsibilities**:
- Plan, coordinate, and optimize manufacturing processes.
- Implement continuous improvement programs (Lean, Six Sigma).
- Prepare PFMEA, Control Plans, and Work Instructions.
- Select machinery and tooling suppliers for new production lines.
- Analyze products/processes to reduce costs and improve efficiency.
- Lead automation projects and line balancing.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams for corrective and preventive actions.
- Comply with quality policies and objectives (ISO 9000, IATF 16949). ** Requirements**:
- Degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechatronics, or related field.
- 1-2 years of experience in manufacturing (electronics/cable).
- Advanced English.
- Knowledge of electrical connectors, pneumatics, SAP, CoreTools.
- Certification or experience in Lean Manufacturing and/or Six Sigma.
- Automotive industry experience preferred. ** Key Competencies**:
