Líder de Grupo de Mantenimiento (Silao de la Victoria)

As the Maintenance Group Leader, you will be responsible for a small to medium group of maintenance employees. You will manage the maintenance and repair of plant equipment and facilities aligned with standard GM maintenance systems and work on site on a full‑time basis. Responsibilities
- Conduct appropriate checks and tests and communicate evaluation of results.
- Recommend solutions to problems.
- Be responsible for preventative maintenance and diagnosis of equipment malfunctions.
- Meet schedule and quality requirements.
- Comply with the terms of local and national labor agreements.
- Implement divisional and corporate policies, safety and good housekeeping practices.
- Maintain frequent contact and collaboration with others outside of the work group.
- Be responsible for the effective use of personnel, material and equipment.
- Establish a course of action to accomplish completion of the job and/or project.
- Have knowledge and ability to implement GMS principles. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in mechanical, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering or any related engineering field, or relevant experience.
- Minimum of 1 year of relevant experience in a similar role, preferably within maintenance or manufacturing environments (2–5 years preferred).
- Intermediate level of English, with the ability to hold a technical conversation.
- Availability and flexibility to work rotating shifts (4x3 schedule).
- Demonstrated leadership abilities.
- Proven experience leading work teams.
- Experience with CNC machining, PLCs, and electrical systems.
- Knowledge of FANUC and Siemens CNC controls.
- Strong teamwork skills.
- Familiarity with PLC platforms such as Allen‑Bradley, Rockwell, and Siemens. Preferred Qualifications
- Understanding of robotic cell configurations, automation systems, and basic robot programming or handling.
