- Location: Loma Linda, 92354 Job Description The Clinical Nurse B-MC (SSN) Adaptable Integrated Team (FIT) nurse functions out of a home department and is reassigned to a Loma Linda University Medical Center patient care department where additional staffing is needed to cover sick calls, vacations, federal and state legislative leaves or vacancies. The FIT nurse exhibits flexibility, readily accepts assignments where needed, and utilizes discretion and independent judgment to prioritize, coordinate, provide and document direct and indirect age‑specific and developmentally appropriate quality patient‑centered care in a fast‑paced environment. Responsibilities
- Provide direct and indirect patient care in the assigned department.
- Prioritize and coordinate care using clinical judgment.
- Document care in a timely and accurate manner.
- Respond calmly and courteously under pressure. Qualifications
- Education: Associate Degree or Diploma in Nursing required.
- Experience: Minimum one year of experience.
- Eligible for promotion to CN‑C classification when criteria are met.
- Completion of Basic Arrhythmia Recognition and Treatment course or equivalent within six months of hire.
- Demonstrates basic clinical nursing competencies and ability to apply theoretical concepts to practice.
- Basic knowledge of healthcare regulations and accreditation.
- Professional behavior at all times; speaks, reads, and writes legibly in English (Spanish preferred).
- Active California Registered Nurse (RN) license.
